You will be building 2 player games on Scratch in which a player competes to get through an obstacle course the fastest without any mishaps. You may build your two player games so that they are playing on side-by-side games, or one at a time with a timer, or any other way you want. Since your obstacle courses will have many items, you will want to build them in levels. If your player makes a mistake, there should be a consequence (they blow up, get zapped, change into a zombie, melt, whatever), and then they should automatically go back to start to try again. You can work in other consequences, such as moving them back a level if they have too many mistakes in any level.
Tok School Playground: 2 player - race around the whole playground on each piece of equipment. Each piece of equipment should be a level. Players should swing on swings a certain amount of times, slide down slides, jump on or off equipment, jump, etc., without making mistakes (falling or missing).

You and a partner will make a game on Scratch. You can make a game where you shoot at a target (not people), run through a maze, put a puzzle together, run through an obstacle course - anything you want. The game must include consequences for when a player does not do something correctly (hits a wall, wrong move, misses a throw or jump, etc). Consequences should also include restarting the game, then after three tries being kicked out of the game. Use sound and other effects to make the game more fun.

Players should swing on swings a certain amount of times, slide down slides, jump on or off equipment, jump, etc., without making mistakes (falling or missing).
Gym: 2 player – climb the pegs, up the bleachers, over the mezzanine balcony, down the bleachers, up the rope, up and down bleachers, line sprints, free throws at each end. Each event should be a separate level. Players should run, jump, climb, throw, etc. and do each event without falling or missing.
Track: 2 player – 1 lap, hurdles, long jump, discus, pole vault. Each event should be a separate level. Players should run, jump, throw, etc. and do each event without falling, tripping, or missing.
Hockey rink: 2 player – put on gear, 1 lap, 1 sprint, shoot goals at each end, remove gear. Players should put on each piece of gear in the correct place, and do each event (skating, shooting, etc.) without falling or missing.
School: 2 player – drop off at school, get breakfast, to locker, play instrument in band room, quick dance in science room, lap Ms. Weisz’s room, get book at office, put book on library shelf, lap the gym, get on the bus. Players should do something with the breakfast (arrange it into correct places on a plate), dance in a certain pattern, throw the book to it's place on the library shelf, lap the gym without hitting anything, and leap onto the bus without missing the door. Players should do all events correctly without falling, tripping, or missing.

    Career Slideshow
For this part of the project, you will be creating a Voki and a slideshow to show what you have learned about your chosen occupation. Both of these need to be embedded into a blog post titled "My Future Career". The Voki should be posted above the slideshow, but they should be in the same post.
For the Voki: Create a Voki that in some way resembles the "look" of your chosen occupation. The Voki should introduce you and state your chosen occupation. Here is a sample script - you can use it if you want...
"Hi, my name is _" (first name only)
"In the future, I'd be interested in being a _" (occupation title)
"Here is some more information about that career"
For the Slideshow:__ You will be using the information you entered into the Occupation Exploration assignment this week. The title slide should be the title of the occupation. The slides should have pictures of things relating to that occupation (pictures of the working environment, people who are doing that work, things that are created in that job, etc.).
    Each slide should contain a short piece of information about;
1.what kinds of things you would do in that job (this should make up most of your slides)
    2. where you can do that job (one or two slides)
    3. how much that job might pay (one slide)
    4. what kind of training/education/experience you need for that job (at least 2 slides)
    5. The final slide should be a picture of you, and it should be a narrated slide where you record yourself reading the portion of your career exploration that explains why you would like a job like this or think you would be good at a job like this.
Remember, no more than 5 words per slide.
    Slideshow options:
    iMovie
Keynote (export to quicktime and upload to blog)
PowerPoint (converted on Slideshare, then embed code in blog)
For the following slideshows, you will have to record your voiceover in Garageband and embed it underneath the slideshow - easy!
Sliderocket (you have the app on your iPads)
Google Presentations (you can find it in your Google Docs)
    280 Slides
    SimpleBooklet
    SlideSix
